• When is the best time to visit Labuan Bajo? ▾

  April through October is recommended for its best weather conditions. Wet season usually would start from November through January. No sailing trips on February (boats docking + bad weather). However, weather condition can’t be guaranteed 100%.

• How do I get to Labuan Bajo? ▾

  By Domestic direct flights: Jakarta (CGK), Surabaya (SUB), Bali (DPS) → Labuan Bajo (LBJ) or International direct flights: Kuala Lumpur (KUL) & Singapore (SIN) → Labuan Bajo (LBJ)

• How do tourists usually explore the islands around Labuan Bajo? ▾

  Most visitors explore the islands through sailing tours, either joining an Open Trip (shared group tour) or booking a Private Trip (private boat). These tours range from one-day trips to liveaboard trips within 2–3 days. Popular spots visited typically are Padar Island, Komodo/Rinca Island, Pink Beach, Taka Makassar, Manta Point, and several snorkeling areas.

• When are 2D1N and 3D2N sailing trips available? ▾

  2D1N trips are available on Monday–Tuesday, Tuesday–Wednesday, Wednesday–Thursday, Thursday–Friday, and Saturday–Sunday, while one-day and 3D2N trips are available every day.

• Do I need to buy the Komodo National Park ticket if I don’t want to see Komodo dragons? ▾

  Yes, it’s mandatory and is already included in most of the packages—since the ticket covers not just to see Komodo dragons in Komodo Island or Rinca Island, but all areas of Komodo National Park; Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Rinca Island, Kalong Island, Taka Makassar, Gili Lawa, Manta Point, Siaba/Sebayur.

• Is documentation included in the sailing trip? ▾

  Yes, it’s included. We provide phone camera, DSLR/mirrorless, GoPro, and drone. However, drone can only be flown freely on certain islands (Kelor and Manjerite) and requires a permit to fly within Komodo National Park areas.
